What Do You Believe About Yourself?

Do you believe that you are smart?

Do you believe that you are popular?

Think back to when you were about 5 years old.  What did your peers tell you about yourself? Did they tell you that you were smart?  Did they tell you that you were stupid?  Did they tell you that you would never have friends?

Whatever you were told when you were 5 years old, you locked in as a belief about yourself.  When you walk into a room with strangers your actions are driven by what you were told and believe, when you were 5 years old, about yourself.

If you were told that you are popular, when you were 5 years old, chances are when you walk into a room full of strangers you feel comfortable and ready to meet them all and make new friends.  If you were told that you weren't as good as other people, chances are you will walk into a room and stand in the back of the room. You won't feel comfortable mingling with people and you will be worried about what they are thinking of you.

Identify your belief about yourself.

What were you told, as a child, about yourself?

Do you really believe what you were told?

Look deep inside, what do you really believe about yourself? (Hint: this is where you create a new belief about yourself.  One that will serve you well in the future.)

With Love & Light ~
